An amazing adventure for your children
Derby Toc-H Children’s Camp provides exciting camping adventure in the Derbyshire countryside.
Whether you are sending your child to camp for the first time or the fourth time, it can be both an exciting and perhaps a nervous experience for you and your child. Below is important information to help you be as prepared as possible. The camp takes place during the summer holidays each year and is free of charge. Transport is arranged to and from the camp and all equipment, food and tents are provided.
Safety First
We apply the same standards of care and safety that any parent would expect, not least because many of us are parents too. All our volunteers have had enhanced DBS checks so while your children are having fun, you can be sure they’re being well looked after. We also have a number of trained first aiders on camp to help in an emergency.
Meal Times
During camp we provide well-balanced meals for every child every day. A vegetarian option is always available for campers whose parents request this on their child’s paperwork. Parents of children with specific food allergies (gluten, peanut, etc.) should also indicate this on their enrolment form.
Preparing for Camp
You will receive a Parents Handbook once you have completed registration for your son and/or daughter and this will help you prepare your child for their 10 day holiday with us.
